KD-Haus was established [in Germany] in 1981, with the aim of providing a design and build service for the construction of private houses using a timber frame system.

Since its launch the company has designed and built several hundred examples of their distinctive designs. Now the concept has been brought to the UK and Ireland by KD-Haus UK Ltd.

Each project is treated separately and individually designed.

KD Haus UK can provide the design, and build the timber frame,roof and windows ready for the owner to complete. The individual elements e.g. timber frame; external walls; roof covering; external doors/windows; etc., can all be individually designed to the clients wishes.

Or KD Haus can provide a bespoke design, complete and ready to occupy. With an internal fit out to whatever standard the customer requires on a "turnkey" basis.

The design of the foundations with or without basement, including structural design, is also included as part of the service as are any retaining walls and driveways needed.
